technology, the same wood for ageing and above all the same consultants, our aim
is to obtain a wine which is the expression of the vineyard it comes from, of
the grapes it was made of, and above all of our own ideas.

Alba Wines Exhibition 2008: Great success for Serralunga’s Barolo
The first comments and assessments published by the 60 journalists taking part in the 2008 edition of Alba Wines Exhibition, the worldwide preliminary tasting event of DOCG Langa and Roero Nebbiolo based wines, dedicated to the international press, are extremely flattering for the 2004 Barolo, in particular for the wine coming from Serralunga d’Alba.
These extremely positive opinions refer to wines of “ an absolutely exciting average level”, capable of expressing, since now, “flavour, impressiveness ,width , excellent structure ,taste” as well as remarkable aromatic and gustative hints.
Barolo Sorano 2004 and Barolo Sorano Coste e Bricco 2004 are our two Serralunga wines that have taken part in the Alba Wines Exhibition tasting sessions and that have received great recognitions.
